Men’s Ministry

Welcome to the Aldershot Lifebuilders Page. Our vision is to empower, encourage, and motivate men through prayer, the word, fasting and outreach through visits and social activities. The scripture says pray without ceasing and no department will function effectively; answering the call to make disciples of men if prayer is absent. Christ is the head of the church and he has commissioned men to be the head of the home, leading and impacting their workplace and communities. As men we should be agents of spiritual change.

Our department meetings are open to all ages and ethnic groups. As a department we meet monthly on a Monday night at 8 p.m. sharing the word, panel discussions, individual presentations and discussions. Annually at least two months we have a month of prayer and fasting where we commit our requests and needs to the Lord. Our desire this year is to have a Men’s Prayer Breakfast which all men are invited to. We celebrate Men’s Day twice a year: on that day our department is in charge of ministering through worship, choir and the undiluted word.

Something that we started recently is a District Retreat. This is a biennial event where the men go on a residential trip for a time of spiritual empowerment and refreshing.

The Lifebuilders department is involved in social activities. There is an annual bowling competition against the Ladies department. We compete against others churches in the annual cricket competition. At the end of the year we have a wonderful time of fellowship and laughter with our annual dinner and get together. We conduct visits to the homes of members and non-members alike. In this forum we pray, fellowship and share our testimonies. If you would like a visit or phone call please get in touch with a board member. There is a Lifebuilders ‘whats app’ page used to communicate ideas and events.
